Deployment

Deploying new technology in schools, colleges and other educational institutions requires planning, precision and sensitivity. Every device is individually configured with Apple IDs for each student, teacher or staff member, and labeled with tracking IDs. Once this is done, a Device Management App (MDM) like Mosyle Manager can be installed on all devices remotely, and selected educational apps can be deployed.

The school’s existing IT and networking infrastructure is also configured to support the new Apple devices seamlessly. The largest deployment of iPads in an Indian School

In May 2019, one school approached us for procurement and implementation of 7,000 iPads to enable remote learning for their students. It was not surprising coming from a school which had always focused on technology in education, but this implementation was required in an ambitious timeline of 2 weeks.

We got to work on the massive implementation with 50+ engineers. Here we share how it was done, what were the results and our learnings from project.
